How to Make Shrink Plastic Name Tag Pet Tag

   Design your pet ID tags. You can create your own designs in a program like PicMonkey, remembering to fade the color to 50% so it appears correctly after shrinking. Alternatively, download a template, open it on your computer, and fill in your pet's name and your phone number.

   Print your designs onto Shrinky Dink printable inkjet sheets.

   Cut out the tags using scissors. For a decorative edge, use decorative-edge scissors. Punch a hole in the top-center of each tag.

   Bake the tags following the instructions on the Shrinky Dink package. You might need to gently flatten the tags while they are baking. Allow them to cool completely.

   Once cool, seal both sides of each pet ID tag with a clear-coat spray.
